Carpere Flores /version 1/

Carpere Flores is a work based on the transformation of a selection of angiosperms and their flowers from raw numerical data into a harmonic sound unique to each flower, pictorial visualization with hand-drawn flowers and recording from the Processing terminal. Carpere Flores (from Latin: to pick flowers) refers to the process of programmatically collecting numerical data line by line. The very process of collecting flowers from the dataset for the author symbolizes an effort to understand and represent the complexity of nature, where each flower representing a specific plant carries its own unique characteristics and refers to biological diversity.
