  • Consumerism

⤷ ゛ 𝄃𝄃𝄂𝄂𝄀𝄁𝄃𝄂𝄂𝄃 ˎˊ˗ This project critiques hyper-consumer culture’s environmental effects through four posters and a video. Featuring edited litter images, sale slogans, and animations, it highlights society’s obsession with excess and suggests a slow path toward environmental recovery. "Consumerism" deals with the impact of the hyper-consumer life of today’s society on the environment. It consists of 4 posters and a video, pointing to the constant encouragement of people to own more and more. Each poster is addressing a specific issue tied to consumerism. Accompanied by boldly edited photographs of litter found in my neighbourhood and recognizable sale slogans, they serve as a visual commentary on our propensity for unnecessary ownership. The video is a dynamic version of static posters, incorporating elements like found footage, After Effects animations, and personal clips. Set to a deliberately slowed-down and edited track (Plague by Crystal Castles), the video points to a slow solution to the environmental problems caused by the surplus in our society. • Carpere Flores /version 1/

⋆˚✿˖° A work based on the transformation of a selection of angiosperms and their flowers from raw numerical data into a harmonic sound unique to each flower, pictorial visualization with hand-drawn flowers and recording from the Processing terminal. Carpere Flores (from Latin: to pick flowers) refers to the process of programmatically collecting numerical data line by line. The very process of collecting flowers from the dataset for the author symbolizes an effort to understand and represent the complexity of nature, where each flower representing a specific plant carries its own unique characteristics and refers to biological diversity. • Carpere Flores /version 2/

(*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.゚ The updated version of Carpere Flores - /version 2/ represents a shift from a purely digital space to a physical one, a move necessitated by the challenges posed by the pandemic during the creation of the initial version. I view this work and its creative potential as highly adaptable. My artistic approach involves merging digital and handcrafted elements to explore the possibilities that arise from integrating artistic craftsmanship with technological innovation. Carpere Flores /Version 2/ provides an exploration of sound, light, and materials—a small, captivating, colourful world of bright flowers. It features a continuous sound unit where the flower corresponding to the currently playing notes illuminates, introducing a dynamic visual dimension. At the core of this audiovisual installation is the transformation of a selection of angiosperms and their flowers from raw numerical data into harmonic sound. A selection of 15 flowers, illuminated with addressable LED lights and crafted by hand from wire and UV resin. A grass-like texture was created using an arttex technology—a tapestry made through the non-woven textiles method - painting with pure wool, adding depth to the visual composition. Within this imaginative world, technology, nature, the fairytale realm, and handcraft converge, inviting viewers to explore and contemplate. • BUILDING COMFORT: Safe Space in Virtual Reality

₊‧°𐐪♡𐑂°‧₊ A bachelor thesis focused on the concept of a safe space. It explores both its comforting aspects as well as the challenges it presents. The interactive VR installation, which is part of this work, visually displays the author’s understanding and perception of a safe space, defined by emotions and experiences. Nevertheless, even within such environments, diverse challenges may surface. They symbolize problems that we tend to avoid and the installation shows that even safe places can contain moments of unrest. The goal is to explore and try to portray the author’s safe space, allowing visitors to interpret it as they see fit. This effort is not just an abstract concept, but a real process with a special meaning and importance.
